I don't know about the U.S.A., but, here in Canada we are celebrating a long-weekend, the Victoria Day holiday weekend. Victoria Day is on Monday and most people have the day off from work. In fact, some had Friday off too!

Anyway, when I was a young fella, we use to celebrate the Monday with setting off Fireworks! Also, this weekend, people who have cottages usually open them up for the summer, i.e., clean out the cobwebs etc.

And . . . there's other things that go on this weekend . . . depends where you live in this country.
