One confounding indicator on the economic and asset front is the price of precious metals. These materials have recently reduced in value by close to 15% and are priced in in US$. Yet the US$ continues to weaken.
In my opinion, this situation is a disconnect and cannot last for long. It is my anticipation that precious metals, just as oil, will resume their upleg. Perhaps oil will correct temporarily, as has precious metals. However, it is my anticipation that both of these classes of assets will appreciate in future value!
