Though for we long term investors, the after hours trading being prermitted to count for the closing price for the day does not make much difference. For the instiutional investors it does as it changes settlement costs for their institutional activity. Why the TSX, the only major exchange on the North American Continent to permit this practice continues to allow such, baffles me. It does nothing but undercut the integrity of the TSX as an above board, ethical exchange. As such, it is highly irregular and only serves to give the TSX a bad rancid odor of corrupt and unethical practices!
