I criticized DG for early financing. I still believe he was too early. IF Algar was approved today the search for financing might have taken a little bit of time, but CLL has paid roughly $90,000 a day in interest since the financing on only the Algar portion. My estimates show about 9 months too early have cost us about $24 million in bottom line profit. How much extra bitumen would have to be produced to recover $24 million of bottom line, not top line, bottom line? Hindsight is 20/20 and what is done is done, approval is still not here, although I believe it will be within the next 6 weeks. So no hats off to DG from me, yet.
