Thanks bbqdays for the excellent post on the presentation. This to me is one of the strengths of this forum is to be able to review comments of others that have some involvement or oversight as to where CCL is going. Your perception as to the strengths and weaknesses of some of the issues where Connacher is spending its focus upon is helpful to us long investors who do not contribute much to this or any other board (twice in the past 9 months). Having been at the AGM, did feel confident that the company is sticking to its plan and will continue to deliver upon its benchmarks, hence my interest in continuing to be a long and aquire on dips.

Having been in both government and private business, I have been disheartened by the slowness of the revue taking place by the AB government (not the Canadian Government) on the Pod 2 Algar application. While in government, my staff always felt that they were overworked and were not accountable to the people that pay the bills, in this case the oil and gas companies making application to increase output. By their very actions they do harm to both the Alberta, Western Canadian and Canadian economies. Enough of my soap box, lets turn to a couple of issues that I would like to focus upon.

I felt that slide 25's mention of environmental best practices was both smart and important. There are a number of nature seekers/green peacers who want to shut down the oil sands in spite of its consequence to our standard of living. By putting the best practices forward that Connacher has embarked upon keeps us under that type of radar and as a consequence enhances our share value. Well done Dick and company! Also sorry to hear of your comments as to the health of our favourite CEO, it sure sounds like he is not a Sharkey doing a marathon (my old days) or that of myself as very many year retired gent who accomplished with his spouse a 220km bycicle peddling last weekend. Perhaps we need to put forward a support network that gets Dick on the treadmill and keeps him focusing on important issues like his health and other well beings. Perhaps in that manner ensuring our continual fiscal well being while ensuring Dicks physical well being.

Just a couple of thoughts.
