Digger:
In the last 3 years, there have been a total of 4 manipulated short coverings on CLL. The way they do it is to throw out a limited number of shares on a stink ask in order to get the panic rolling. Then, stop losses start to be triggered in a cascading fashion. It becomes ever more frenzied as some investors panic and sell at the market. Volume continues to build and becomes quite high. And of course as the bottom approaches there sits the manipulators whom have engineered the event. They cover their shorts and go long on programmed trading. The SP recovers gradually but generally the same day. A nasty, nasty piece of manipulation designed to take advantage of working people who have left stop losses and the innate fear of loss. The previous holder of CLL, returns home to find his shares gone and the SP not much down from when they left home that morning. All in all, a nasty mendacious piece of victimization.
