Occidental $492M for 15% stake in Joslyn would not equate to $2.4 for CLL share. This calculation is wrong.

Do not forget that CLL has $3.3 debt per share.

Personally I would welcome any offer which would include the purchase of CLL convertible shares. This would be sweet.
