Long time, 300+ days for construction, then you have ramp up period. CLL has it on thier website, I beleive we are looking at early 2010 for any real production, and then thoughout 2010 for full ramp up. Approval is great news, but rememeber we are a ways away, but that is fine if you are a long term investor who sees the 3-5 year value of CLL. Best of luck all.
Yes that true ,but we do not know how investors are going to react in advance to the start up from Algar .Are they gonna take positions in the stock earlier because they knew as we do that cashflow will go up.The uncertain factor is the oil price by then.Valuation of CLL has dropped mostly to the drop in bitumen price and the economic situation.Until now we have no idea how long this will take until we hear from companies that they see a better outlook ahead.
What's the concensiuous among members here about the oil price. Will we stay above the 60 or will we go down further? Is last is the case 2009 will not be a very good one for our sp and probably we wil see lower bottoms again then in the stock. The trouble for the refinairies is though price has dropped they even can't win by this situation. But wil it stay that way for long time ?With all actions taken by goverments to improve banking situations at some point this must have an effect .Mostly it takes up to six months until we will see some reaction.
About Q3 #.I'm not so optimistic also for Q4 too.
