The conference call was fascinating, only wish it was available via Internet so I could Tivo (rewind) ... especially after dozing off through the boring portions. If Connacher isn't a well managed company, I don't know what is. There's no stone left unturned, from transportation to currency to refining differentials. It was a well balanced presentation, forthright with concern over the price of oil, yet with concrete (albeit possibly painful) plans to get through difficult times.
I took away the message of a painful next 6 months, 18 more months for the economy to climb out of the gutter, and Connacher stronger and more robust coming out on the other side. A sobering yet highly encouraging message in my interpretation.
Again I wish it was posted online, or available in print.
