Brian:
Marlborodog informed me of the 30 day rule as well, seems to be the same as the U.S. I think the last 2 days wasn't really an overreaction but an opportunity exploited. Fund managers also sell off shares to raise cash as people sell their funds , there's a multitude of reasons why the shares will be traded. The shorts took advantage which compounded the issue.
As a long in CLL with an average per share cost of $3.85 it's extremely depressing to lose enough to buy a house. All I can do is comfort myself in knowing that DG did the right thing by cutting production and delaying Algar. You don't sell a non reneuable resource at below cost, and you don't spend cash on new toys when your income is reduced, it's just common sense. I also know that the selloff of the last 2 days has nothing to do with the fundalmentals and everything to do with exploitation.
We'll see how it goes today,,either way someone somewhere will be making money on CLL today.
