I am hoping that OPEC cutbacks will lead to a good increase in the price of oil so that all oil and gas companies will receive a fair price for the oil that they produce. A price of US $70 to $80 per barrell would be good for a start.

Yes hope we get there too but this will take time.Only I'm looking for now is "where is that bottom"?Last price was again at mid 30 .Maybe something to do with tax selling as I learned this is something in the US tax rules.So just some more days and then we are in 2009.The mood so far here is not quite optimistic certainly for first months so far.If car makers which has also here stopped production for a time or reduced it will start up again after there stocks are gone then steel sector also could start up.But therefore people must start buying cars and looking for homes etc..Jobless claims are rising here too but most mens jobs are hurt.So far womens jobs still are ok.

So far recent cuts have had no effect.But I've seen here in my village that many people has again filled their heating oil tanks due to the price which is alsmost half it was at summer.People also talking now about cheaper gas and diesel for cars so car using is still ok .At some point there must be a point where demand meets output again.IMO we are at a price of an oversold situation like we where on the other side this summer.I will be pleased to see again on oil chart the first second higher bottom on pirce.Let's hope this point is not so far way anymore.

If CLL should start up again mid 2009 that would be great but have no clue what price they had in mind.

If price should stabelize first MRC could benefit and later if they start up again then POD 1 too is on track.After all if this could happen we could enter a future again where the facts are in favour for CLL and not negative anymore like we have seen last months.

One of my friends said in financials are start to improve then cyclic companies will start rising too.

I don't think and hope we never face such a year again like we have had this year.
