My post appears to have been deleted, it's nice to see that censorship is alive and well.. FIRST of all I never compared Obama to Hitler. I was responding to your statement.

The point I was making by mentioning Hitler is this..The statement you made is a prime example of how figures thruout history, good and bad, have been able to mesmorize the populance by their charisma. Yes Obama is a good communicator, has charisma and can give a good speach, However his record is dismall, he has none.He's accomplished NOTHING during his politcal career legislatively speaking.Obama was elected by Hollywood and the American media..Look I hope he does well, all I'm saying is giving a good speach doesn't make a good president.

As far as the oil sands are concerned..Yes the strip minning is causing all the damage but you don't understand the Environmental movements agenda along with American politics. You see they don't diferentiate between SAGD and strip mining, they want the WHOLE tar sand projects declared off limits for U.S consumption. If they get their way, unless there's a critical oil shortage,this is serious for CLL and the oilsands.
