You've got it bang on. The issue regarding global warming, is a move for unparalleled access to money by sowing the seeds of irrational fear. Just do your reading about what Al Gore and his cronies have planned in the way of taxes and fees to fight the imagined and unproven scourge of so called "global warming". It is enormous and will bury the world in spending and debt over a misrepresented theory in which there is massive scientific dispute and disagreement. It was only a few years ago the popular scientific community was warning of the threat of "global cooling". Here is to their next fad for grabbing our money. The world has gone through many stages of warming and cooling. The mini ice age of Europe 500 years ago when it snowed year round and the global warming of 10,000 years ago. As I recall, there were no automobiles contributing to that "global warming". Until the legitimate scientific community can determine whether global warming or global cooling is a true threat, then to do anything risks inappropriate action based on the fad science of that world renowned climatologist, Al Gore.

Meanwhile it will place a potential significant and extreme loss on any invested in such nefarious enterprises as the Canadian oil sands. So, I have to wonder, why would any truly believing in global warming be invested in anything such as the Canadian oil sands?
