On the more serious note,
China may lead us out of the recession.....? Well, I think it will be the other way around. In January China export plunged 17.5%. 70,000 factories were closed and 20 million people lost jobs (equivalent of 5 million US jobs or 500,000 Canadian jobs).
China economy is export-oriented economy. Without the demand for their goods their manufacturing sector will collapse. Domestic demand and their own "stimulus" (about $500 per person) will not help too much. Remember Chinese are very hard working people but they are savers not spenders.
Summarizing, China needs US, Europe, Japan more then we need them. Their road to prosperity depends on the customer-oriented economies of developed nations.
Unfortunately these customers are fully loaded with debt and their saving rate is negative. This will put the brake on China for as long as we fix our own problems.
