Connacher (and most other heavy oil producers) need an increase in the price of bitumen.

So, I am confident that Connacher is doing everything it can to extend the amount of time for the price of bitumen to increase to a sufficient level.

As well, the company may look at other options.

It would appear that Connacher has well into 2010, or longer, to get a high enough bitumen price.
