I followed T. Boone for quite awhile and found his predictions to be highly publicized when correct and mute when wrong......
Here's few predictions that didn't work out......... (found at the link below)

"In 2004, Pickens predicted oil would hit $50 when it had started the year in the thirties, and BP Capital Energy Commodity Fund gained 390% for the year. Its equity fund was up a measly 70% in comparison. He went on to predict $60 oil, stating, "I think we've seen $40 oil for the last time." Time would tell."
we've obviously seen $40 oil again.......
In 2007......

"In October, Pickens had gone public with a prediction that oil would rebound to $70 a barrel before Jan. 1. It was a wrong guesstimate, the Lone Star State oilman admitted.
"There is no question I miscalculated," he said."
And last year (I can't currently find the quote by T.Boone), he predicted we wouldn't see $100 oil again.......
Don't get me wrong, I wish the 2010 prediction of $100 comes true (he stated Jan/09)
