I had the same feel about him.

In last several quoter total jet fuel production at MRC was about 3 to 6%. According to his homework this is about 50%. It is truth that jet fuel crack improved in last two months but not to the point to make dramatic difference in total MRC margin (2 to 3 millions per quoter).

He recommend the CLL debenture instead of commons stock shares.

CLL.DB went down $1 today to $38 . $545,000 change hands. I was hoping it will jump to $50 so I can unload my shares and free the capital.

I think his job was to provide the liquidity for some of his friends. Sometimes these debentures have zero volume for a week and they have big spread between bid and ask.
