NN:
The matter of "appropriate" executive compensation is always among the investor class, a somewhat contentious matter. And in part, I sympathize with the argument. But have you ever been there?
If as an investor, one has issues with executive compensation, then are are a few steps which may be taken. 1. Try amending the process by which executive compensation is determined through investor activism. 2. Vote with your feet by withdrawing your support and selling your stock. If ones estimation is that executive compensation is inappropriate to the interests of the enterprise, that is likely the wise alternative anyhow.
