CLLZF is a US derivative security. Each day. the TSX value is adjusted by that days closing US$/CDN$ exchange rate for the closing price on the TSX and reported in US$. At the time one sells the underlying CLL the value in CDN$ relative to the US$ is converted for the CDN SP and the corresponding result in US$ is credited to ones account. Principal advantages. one can buy in the US at US commission charges (usually lower) and yet, until sold, your investment is held in Canadian Dollars which is advantageous if one thinks the CDN currency will appreciate relative to the US$. Which of course, is widely forecast at present.
