You reference "disgruntled investors". Rather than that reference, perhaps the description of them as "concerned investors" would be more appropriate.
Why concerned? At present though many are saying this will be a minor correction, there are many others forecasting a major correction in the markets and some such as Robert Prechter and Harry Dent, both of whom have tremendous forecasting histories, are saying we are in the early stages of a market which will see the Dow at 3,000 before it is done. Additionally, they are saying we will see oil run up before it also collapses as unemployment rates sky rocket to the 25% neighborhood. In other words, a depression scenario!
The question is, can Connacher survive such a scenario should it develop?? Do any here know for certain? Of course not. However, perpetually looking through rose colored glasses, can be very harmful to ones economic well being!
