Great posts Bid_Ask, Jurek and Scott. Thanks to all of you for your comments and information.

The PDP transaction is pretty strange. My take on it is there are two possibilities.

1. Support of a wavering company which would seem unfair to Connacher stakeholders and almost a conflict of interest.

2. Insider knowledge that PDP is very undervalued due to who knows what, upcoming prospects or whatever, though that would also seem to almost be insider trading.

Are the rules different in Canada?
