PetroChina to take 60 per cent stake in Athabasca Oil Sands for $1.9 billion

Looks like CLL was going up in anticipation of confirmation of the above venture.

CLL hit it's high of $1.06 between approx 11.20 and 11.55... dropped down then held steady til around 2.35 pm.. If you've got level 2 you'll notice that the above news article appeared over the wire at 2.34 THEN around 2.44 CLL started heading back to $1.00 where it looks like it's going to close..

It would appear that either the market was upset that the above venture once confirmed would take CLL off the venture table...Or the market knew all along CLL wasn't in the cards and used the opportunity to make a quick buck
