Hi Dan,
Congratulations on your patience. I exited most of my position quite a while back. However I've begun accumulating again at this price. I believe the downside is very limited now. The big worries I have are the price of oil (though hedges are in place) and problems with Algar. Hopefully either of those problems would give us fair warning to lighten up on positions. Personally I believe oil's found its comfort zone, and I hope Algar will be successful. I've been disappointed with GD, but knowledgeable posters have commented these types of operations always experience start-up problems, and one has to admit the recent past presented circumstances completely unexpected that would have been difficult to respond to even if forseen.
Other intelligent posters have expressed distrust of Connacher's management. For whatever reason I do trust the management team, believe their visibility is more than I've seen from other companies, and also believe they want to make money and build a solid company. I'm hoping we're on the ground floor of something big, and in a pretty good position right now. No home runs here, but I forsee more up-side than down.
Other good advice has been given to pay attention only to the financial statements, rather than the fluff. That's great if you can understand them, which I try to do and appreciate the assistance of this great forum with interpretation of the information.
Good luck with investing and with life.
