I do remember someone talking about that once, maybe a year ago, whereby a company doing a test project was too close to the surface and the steaming pressure fissured right to the surface. Which leads me to believe one of two things:

1. Either this was what he was referring to, and it was just a test project and not somebody under regular production; or

2. That story was bunk and I should have checked the sources.
