Message: Back to the well pairs

There are 17 wellpairs currently producing at POD 1. 15 wellpairs that have been producing for a year and a half and the 2 well pairs that were added in 2009 and which are contributing to daily production but are not yet "fully mature". These 2 additional well pairs were drilled in 2009 because the ESP's (electric submersible pumps) that were installed in some of the original 15 wellpairs, reduced the amount the steam required to heat the reservoir. With the same amount of steam being produced at POD 1 and less steam being required to heat the reservoir, well pairs 16 & 17 were drilled to use the extra steam that was available rather than waste the unused steam. As Connacher goes into 2010 and installs up to 11 more ESP's at POD 1 there will be less steam needed for the 17 producing well pairs thus the steam not needed will be applied to the 2 new well pairs 18 & 19 which will be drilled early in 2010 (as stated in the 2010 capital budget.) so that all of the steam being produced at POD 1 is being used.

As for the number of barrels that you stated at 8806 barrels on the 26th of October I don't know where you got this number from because I'm pretty sure that the production from POD 1 was no where near that. We will not know until the water purification problem is solved and a new press release or Q4 report gives us an update on POD 1's production.

Best Wishes; Scott
