The developing world has already replaced the reduction in demand represented by Europe and North America. As the demographics of the demand of the developing 80% of the worlds population continues to assert itself, its influence will continue to be more prevalent. The days of a European and American centered world economy is rapidly coming to a conclusion. Just as the dominance of Europe in world influence gradually eroded in the 19th and 20th centurys to the influence of America, so now is the domination of the European and North American nations passing into history. The result will be a difficult adjustment on the part of the developed economies of Europe and North America. But, none the less, a shift which needs to take place as 80% of the worlds population will not permanently acquisce in leading a diminished lifestyle. Such means in the next year we will be seeing the impact of demand of the world stressing world supply of petroleum! Question, will such allow for the success of a Connacher? That depends on the European and North American economies not taking the world into a depressed economic state!
