It is not my intention to be "catty", or hypercritical. It has always been my experience that one comes out ahead admitting previous shortcomings, what you have learned from overcoming previous errors and then move on. To me, such an approach of recognition of previous failings, along with what has been learned by correcting previous errors, not only adds a refreshing humility but, the recognition that business is a learning experience fraught with obstacles which can be changed to opportunity. A note of humility only adds to the credibility of individuals as well as enterprises!
