What is occuring now, has been called for for some time. The US and Europe are inflating their way out of their debts. The more solid currencies will benefit. Precious metals will benefit. Metals and building materials will benefit as the worlds emerging and rapidly expanding economies take center stage. Emerging nation economies will see their currencies appreciate relative to the Euro and US$. Canada, as one of the principal sources of materials needed for the development and build out of the the developing world and of course energy needed by the developing world and the possesor of one of the worlds stronger balance sheets, will benefit and grow in economic power. Longer term for the US economy, will it wake up and smell the coffee relative to the disastrous economic and fiscal path it is on? It better! Or else it will over time lose its power and influence.
