The US Constitution states that all citizens have the right to freedom of speech and the right to petition their Government. It says nothing regarding my obligation to listen, acknowledge, or even be pleasant to the presenter. Only that my rights end at the end at the beginning of his nose. Eventually, we will likely see attempts at enforcing the obligation to agree with the power structure. Fortunately, not yet because I assure you, I will not!
How fortunate for Canada that you only have 2500 lobbyists. Come south of the border to Washington if you want to see the inanity of representation gone mad. Still, even if I could, I would not change our libertys! Would that certain others respected my rights as much as I respect theirs. But then our current leaders are not really interested in our common rights. Just their sole rights!
