When it comes to choosing between inflation and deflation, I think the Central Governments will choose inflation every time. This is true cause the politicians know that deflation will be the kiss of death for their political carrers. And that, no politician can stand the thought of.

However, the reality is that economic depression can only be avoided so long. The excesses accumulate over time and become onerous on the economic economic reality and all of the stimulus one can muster is no longer enough. Thus the "economic cleansing" of the excesses can no longer be avoided. Many think we have hit such a point and we are in the early stages of an economic situation that will cleanse the excesses so the economy can grow again in a rebirth. The stimuli applied by every major economy on earth has been or, is in in the process of being applied. Will it work? We can only guess. Time will tell.

However, one opinion I am comfortable with. If they cannot with all of their inflationary efforts get inflation started, then deflation and depression will be the result. And in turn, likely that will spell the demise of Connacher O&G!

All that are long Connacher need to stay nimble with their finger over the sell key!!
