Sharky,

I have a great suggestion to get us to a new bull market. Keep Obama and the European leaders well away from any microphones. Give as much air time to Bernanke and Trichet as we can. Job done. Check it out it's true. The markets tank each time the leaders get on air and gain every time the financial guys speak.

Jurek I had a good laugh at your latest post, well done. Also I am now looking at your BP tip and now it seems to be getting to a price too good to leave alone. Soon it will be cheap enough for one of the other majors to buy out completely. That is very compelling. I actually jumped into NE on Tuesday. I could not resist this one. They are a great company and were on my radar a while back but were just too expensive. Thing is they have only 6 rigs from 44 involved in the 6 months ban. Also they have secondary contracts waiting in the wings for a couple of those so I do not see any reason for a 40% haircut.

The ban on drilling is such good news for all oil sands not just CLL so perhaps it's time to get some DD done ready for the reall rally.

CLL seems to be doing great for the moment which has perked me up a bit I wish I had grabbed a few more. Neverthless I have not seen evidence of a major turn around although there are some signs. Checking out the small caps they are usually first to see some reversals and there is some small evidence of it right now.

These are the guys I look at:

If there is some upside in the near future I will be keeping a close eye on it as I still feel that Connacher will follow the markets down should there be a rapid fall. I would like to see an S&P rally to 1160+ and then followed by a visit close to the long term MA(434 period). At this point I think the markets would then be primed for take off having cleared the air so to speak. After that it should be off to the races.

Sorry for some off the off topic content but I don't think many are visiting over there these days.
