Can oil sand operations benefit from the BP disaster ?

If you read the previous scenario that could occur then it's not unreal that the view on deep water drilling will change.Considering the huge impact on nature if something goes wrong .

So Sagd operation is probably dirty oil but the risk on an event like BP is very low and more to handle.

I read previous postings and indeed many help is offered from European comapnies as well specially the Netherlands which has great experience on water treatment but who knows what's behind the scenes.
