The whacko environmental nuts, though infuriatingly stupid, are a fringe group not supported by the vast, vast majority of people. Their problem is oil itself, not the Oil Sands as a stand alone issue. These people have never dealt with the issue of if their desires were met, the world would go back to life as it was 200 years ago. And that is not about to happen. At least not with the sole purpose of gratifying their demands!
