The Saudis are totally secretive regarding their oil reserves and production, so I would take these numbers with a gallon's worth of Dead Sea water.

What I would like to hear from some of our more knowleagable members' opinions of Matthew Simmons book Twilight in the Desert - the author makes a plausible argument that the reserves of Saudi Arabia are at or near the point of declining production.
