How about an all stock deal between Statoil, Nexen and Connacher. Statoil has property right by Connacher and it is a very large land position. Nexen has also a large land position which is producing in the Oil Sands near Connacher as well as succesful deepwater production. Both of these companies joint venture already with each other in the North Sea. Both in British and Norwegian waters.
