I'm afraid my take would be a bit more conspiratorial. The institutions, in my opinion, are managing the SP for purposes of accumulation. Oil continues to in refusal to go below $80.00. Historically and recently a high price. Today oil is up $1.51 and CLL is down a penny. All on volume higher than normal with a just fifteen minutes ago a 1 million share transaction @ down 0.01. The daily range has been very tight in range of price. Particularly in light of the daily up move in crude of $1.51. Additionally bitumen prices have recently improved and Connacher earnings were better than expected.
