OK! You are just a callow young man from the generation folowing mine as I was born in 48. As became apparent as the players you cited are one generation later than the generation I cited. As you, I no longer follow hockey as closely as I once did. However, of the four major sports, I still feel hockey has the most to offer. Though the overall quality of talent has increased in the NHL, I feel due to the explosion in number of teams from the original six, has caused some dilution in the talent and performance pool impacting on the overall quality of the NHL!
