Just came back from my tennis trip to Palm Spring to watch the CLL Financial Report action (or luck of it). I left you with the CLL SP above $1.6 and you guys pushed it down under the $1.4. Good thing we have the stop loses option available to everyone.
Was tempted to buy 1/2 of the position today but there is to many bargains to choose from including uranium stock which had the 50% correction.
Sharky, you ask about the bitumen price situation....It looks like we have an improvement in March.
So far the March average is about $48/bbl.
February average bitumen price was about $40/bbl.
CLL average cost including interest expenses is $41 to $42/bbl. If you add the Operating Capex related to Bitumen production the cost is $49/bbl. This calculation is based on the 16,000 bbl/d production.
Tonight we should see if the higher Revenue from the Algar can improve the CLL cash flow or earnings. Remember that they will finally report interest expenses which were capitalized and were excluded from the earnings.
