Rebels:

The US became the Reserve currency for the world following WWII. Not as you cite in the 1960's. Will it be replaced as the "Reserve" currency? Undoubtedly at some point. But when? No other currency is currently in a position to soley replace it. In the short term, if the $ is replaced it would likely be by a basket of currencies. Of which a component would be the US$.
