When you say "Brians friends in the big casino from across the border", I assume you are referring to the US Federal Reserve. Just as clarification, I am not a fan of Fed policy and in fact, believe the Federal Reserve Bank of the USA needs to undergo serious reformation. And perhaps even replacement by an institution more dedicated to the principles of honest money. Something abandoned by the US Federal Reserve Bank a number of decades ago. Might I applaud at the same time the fiscal policies of the Canadian monetary authorities. A central bank which has restored probity and value to what was a seriously flawed currency in the past fifteen years or so. In fact, that is precisely why a significant percentage of my holdings are in Candian equities as well as other nations demonstrating fiscal rectitude and probity.
