Not surprised, CLL isn't desperate, besides how often is the first offer accepted? CLL has enough cash on hand to pay the debentures. Production and bitumen prices are rising etc. CLL can pay it's debts off and operate at a minor profit if everything stays the same. What CLL cannot do is expand..So what we've got is a company that can pay it's bills with a tiny profit for the next 10-15 years until debt is paid..Not an exciting forecast but not worthy of selling the farm at fire sale prices.
