Connacher to Participate in Canadian Oil Sands Summit and London Oil Sands Forum

CALGARY, Jan. 12, 2009 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) --

Connacher Oil and Gas Limited (CLL-TSX) announced today that it will be presenting at the 6th Canadian Oil Sands Summit in Calgary, Alberta on January 13, 2009. The presentation will be made by President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Richard A. Gusella and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Peter D. Sametz. The presentation will be made at 11:30 AM MST.

Connacher Oil and Gas Limited also announced today that Mr. Richard A. Gusella will be a participant in the London Oil Sands Forum 2009 which is being hosted by TD Newcrest. The forum will be held on January 19, 2009 in London, United Kingdom.
