The funny thing about history is that modern leftists call Hitler and the Nazi Party right wing..they were in fact a left wing Socialist party.. Hence the name National Socialist German Workers' Party. Nazism, Fascism and Communism all have their roots in the works of Marx/Engels..Socialism is a bastardization of Communism and Democracy..

Europe may be leaning slightly right at the moment but it's still extremely Socialist. There's a difference between a change in peoples thinking and a system of government already in place..

THE MAIN difference between left wing and righ twing exremism is that the left are offensive in nature and the right defensive..Let me explain, both can be violent but the Left uses violence to acheive what it desires and the right uses violence to protect what it already has. The left uses viloence as a means to gain power as it depends on confiscating property and wealth from one individual to give it to another they feel more deserving. ALL communist Governments achieved power thru force. The left frequently uses riot and terrorism to further their agenda, I don't think I need to remind you of the Violent riots in Europe led by unions since October.

The right rarely uses violence as the are defensive in nature. The militias and the groups you mentioned will fight to preserve what they consider attacks on their rights and heritage.

IN A NUTSHELL the left uses violence to promote change,,the right uses violence to prevent change.

Christian militias, again they see an attack on their way of life and are willing to defend it. I'm not a religious person. I believe in a creator but not organized religion. LOOK Atheism is just another name for secular humanism , which by the way is also a religion..

Zietgeist movement is very conspiratorial and also have an agenda..
