Although if any of us truly knew the direction of the market, we could sell such, I will take a run at it.

My own opinion is the market in the short term will take a breather. Likely to the dji 7400-7500 level. Then we will see a run to the near 10,000 level. Then look out, we could enter a depression event which would take us as low as DJI 4,000. Much depends on how succesful the Obama administration is in getting its agenda passed. If succesful in getting "cap and trade" passed which is actually an enormous tax increase, then the mistake made by Roosevelt circa 1935 will be repeated and the economy will suffer commensurately. The trigger will likely be oil prices which explode to the upside causing the bubble to pop with a resultant "crash and burn".

If this case comes to be true, then investors will need to remain very nimble footed as all potentialities are and will continue to be in play.
