I would rather think the opposite is true.

TCK's copper production from existing mines is declining, and so is other copper producers. TCK's shareholders should be upset if TCK does not sieze the opportunity to acquire SC which is relatively cheap because of the back in option; even if they pay CUU shareholders a couple of billion on top. The mineral value in SC alone is probably worth in excess of $50 billion. It would appear TCK needs SC badly if they want to maintain their level of copper production. JMO GLTA!
