TCK's silence about CUU is a bit perplexing. They know Galore's huge capital costs and the tunnelling requirements make little sense. CUU is less expensive and takes less time to develop; it also has a negative production cost for copper. CUU appears a much better choice, at least to a CUU long! The silence could be intentional; it may be a poker tactic.

The nationization movement in South Africa could have a serious and long term implication, and may create further supply constraints in minerals. If that movement takes hold in the continent, it will only hurt the Africans most. They desparately need foreign investments and with the nationalization movement, foreign companies are going to think twice about investing in that continent. Canada will become a much more attractive alternative and indirectly CUU's many Schaft Creeks will be that much more attractive and valuable!
