another suggestion - the current format is pretty narrow width, at least in my browser. I've got about 2" of unused space on either side - the ads could be expanded a bit, along with the forum content window - might make things more visually appealling.

Or just leave the sidebar ad width the same, but expand the inner/main text portion. THis would make the newsflash take up less vertical space, and make it a lot easier/quicker to scan rather than scrolling.

Just an opinion.
