I hesitate to post this link because the article linked to has a political slant and I'd rather not see political discussions take root here. But I'll quote this paragraph from the article which piqued my interest (my bolding):

But in the absence of provincial stimulus funds, the plan relies heavily on cutting red tape and promoting B.C. investment opportunities."
Wonder where those eight new mines are located?
