Maybe Ive misread this but I dont think so, anyone speak legalese so they can confirm this?
According to the Shaft Creek option on the website, it says that Copper Fox can;
Further acquire Teck Cominco's 'Indirect Holding' (defined as an indirect 23.4% carried interest through its 78% shareholding in Liard Copper Mines Ltd. who hold a 30% carried interest in the property) by incurring the above described $5,000,000 in expenditures and completing and delivering to Teck Cominco a positive bankable feasibility study.
What if Teck decided to act quicker than the BFS so as to keep their interest in Liard rather than giving us 78%?
Gives us a bit more bargaining power and a small boost the SP Im sure...also puts time pressure on Teck to act before the BFS.
Maybe itll be an ultra merry Christmas this year.....
