Someone recently suggested and I think they are right. Teck will not disclose their intention on the up to 75% until they have nailed down the 25% option and who and where that is going.

250M is nothing for Teck. One set of tires for just one truck runs about 350K and those dont come with 100K mile guarantees let me tell u.

They are smart, and I personally think that they are not worried about the percieved shareholder concern of Teck Shareholders. They are riding on a high from a SMART decision that shareholders balked at (Fording) and it turned out to be golden.

For all the RIGHT reasons that others have mentioned, (location, longevity of supply, etc) they will pitch this and there will be huge acceptance and concurrence from all the analysts.
